Description

Côte-Nord is home to a 850-km segment of Québec's renowned Route Verte cycling route, from Tadoussac and Tadoussac/Sacré-Coeur to Kégaska. Known as the Cyclingpath of the Whales, it runs along the St. Lawrence River past lakes, rivers, and mountains. Over 95% of the Whale Trail on Route 138 has at least one metre wide paved shoulders. However, several sections take you out of 138 into villages along the way. You can also loops with southshore if you use ferry services from north-shore  towns like Saint-Siméon, Les Escoumins, Forestville, Baie-Comeau, or Godbout. All the information you need to plan your trip is on cycling map, which you can order by calling 1 418 297 5577 or 1 888 463-5319 or visiting the VéloRoute des Baleines website (English infos also available).
