Tête-à-la-Baleine owes its name to a whale-shaped island in the nearby “Toutes-Îles” archipelago. In winter, you can travel to Tête-à-la-Baleine via snowmobile on La Route blanche (the White Trail), a trip that gives snowmobile enthusiasts a chance to experience the charms of a typical North Shore activity.
