Description

The Taïga Trail is a 4 km walk that circles the town of Fermont. It offers a landscape where the Daviault and Severson mountains dominate with their tundra vegetation. Then, it runs along Lake Daviault, offering a panorama of the latter and giving access to all the city parks, the Perchard stream and the marina.

The main attraction of the city is the screen wall, built to protect the city from the northern winds. This building, 1.3 km long and five stories high, houses housing and community services connected by a pedestrian mall.
