Description

Our 8 snowshoe trails are laid out and offer magnificent and diversified routes. Some trails near the chalet are suitable for families and others await you for a long walk with breathtaking north-coastal views!

Suggested routes

For a first experience on snowshoes, the Castor loop, made up of the Castor (blue) + Ti-Loup (black) trails, allows you to walk along the river and Lac Caché but also to stop at the Zone Vélo Ski refuge. Some sections are intermediate level. This loop is 2.4 km long. Another popular route will take you to the Palais de Glace, a magnificent cliff with its ice organs. Follow the Ti-Loup (black) then the path to the Palais de Glace (red). The end of this route is classified as intermediate and has steep sections. It is a round trip with a total distance of 4 km. Many other routes are possible. It is of course necessary to inform you at the reception of the state of the trails and to respect the most elementary safety instructions.

For further

Before venturing into the expert level trails, it is necessary to prepare well and validate your itinerary with the resort team before your departure. The routes of all our trails are available on the OsmAnd offline navigation application. After downloading the application, all you have to do is download the Côte-Nord map. Don't forget that the cold has a significant impact on the batteries and that a safe hike cannot be based on the use of a cell phone.
