Description

This area is renowned for its “dunes”- actually rock formations that geologists refer to as “marine terraces”. Hiking trails lead to lookouts with lovely views of the river, the village and the forest. In September and October, in collaboration with the Observatoire d'oiseaux de Tadoussac (Bird Observatory), birdwatchers can help band birds and look for raptors. For information: explosnature.ca/oot.
