Description
To reach the summit of Mont Daviault, you have the choice between 4 trails: the Centenaire (0.7 km - linear), the Ruisseau (1 km - linear) or the Flore (1.5 km - loop), which all leave from the small bridge located at the entrance to the site.
Initially, the trail follows a stream for a short distance and then climbs the southern slope of the mountain. There are four rest stops with benches along the route. Once at the top, we discover a panoramic view of Fermont and the immensity of its territory. This is the perfect time to take a break at the belvedere.
On the way back and down the Flore trail, you walk at the foot of the rocky capes, then cross an area made up of leafy trees and finally discover different viewpoints over the town of Fermont. Along the trails, hikers can learn more about the city from interpretive panels.
