Description
Located on the north end of Patterson Island in the tiny archipelago of downtown Port-Cartier, Parc de la Taïga features 1.6 kilometers of well-maintained walking trails in a typical North Shore habitat. Discover typical plants of the boreal forest while soaking up invigorating scents and aromas. Halfway, at the tip of the island, there is the impressive waterfall of Rivière aux Rochers, whose torrents rush by just meters in front of you. In season, observe the dexterity of salmon anglers in the twelve pools along the trails.
