In the heart of the Nitassinan of Pessamit, the Uapishka Station is an ecotourism enterprise and a scientific research station co-founded by the Pessamit Innu Council and UNESCO's Manicouagan-Uapishka World Biosphere Reserve.

In winter, the realm of powder snow, the Monts Groulx becomes a paradise for off-piste skiers, hikers and snowmobile enthusiasts. Fatbike and ice fishing are also gaining popularity.
