Tourisme Côte-Nord

Named in honor of William Henry Whiteley, the inventor of the cod trap, the Whiteley Museum is a magnificent institution which showcases artifacts, images and information on the history and culture in the Municipality of Bonne Esperance.

In 2014, a café was opened within the Museum; it provides tourists and locals alike a variety of high quality, freshly made food and beverage, free internet access, and a craft shop with crafts made by local artisans.
