Full-time position, 35 hours/week

(off every Friday PM)

Baie-Comeau, Québec

CURRENT SALARY

from $25.14 to $32.81/hour

THE POSITION

As an Unorganized Territory Clerk, you will have the opportunity to put your skills to good use:

• Performing all accounting operations related to annual and property tax billing, as well as collection.
• Performing monthly and annual activities related to payable accounts, taxation, receivable accounts and the general ledger.
• Updating the property assessment roll.
• Performing daily accounting clerk tasks.

The MRC de Manicouagan is an organization with nearly 30 employees working in the municipal sector and with a wide variety of responsibilities. Located in the magnificent Côte-Nord region, the MRC de Manicouagan represents eight municipalities and an unorganized territory spread over 39,441 km². In addition to its wide-open spaces allowing its residents to enjoy the outdoors at any time of year, the MRC, bordered by the St-Lawrence River and mountains, is a welcoming, dynamic, and diverse region where life is enjoyable.

REQUIRED PROFILE

Do you enjoy teamwork and customer communication? The MRC is looking to add a discreet, meticulous, and organized individual to its team. This individual must be comfortable working in a computerized environment and able to work under pressure!

QUALIFICATIONS

• College diploma in administrative techniques or management accounting techniques.
• Any related training or experience will be considered if it is relevant to the position.
