Visitor Services Attendant - (student)

EDUCATION:

• Be enrolled as a full-time or part-time student in a post-secondary program at an accredited institution for the Winter 2025 term.
  OR
• Be enrolled in an adult education or vocational retraining program at the secondary level managed by an accredited institution for the Winter 2025 term.

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS:

• French essential

ABILITIES:

• Communicate effectively orally
• Solve problems

PERSONAL QUALITIES:

• Take responsibility
• Demonstrate sound judgment
• Maintain positive interpersonal relationships

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:

• Hold a Reliability Status security clearance.
• Possess a valid Class 5 driver's license.
• Arrange transportation to the workplace and various work locations independently.
• Undergo a health assessment and meet the essential health and safety requirements of the position in accordance with the Isolated Posts Policy.

OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

The position requires:

• Working shifts, including weekends and federal and provincial holidays.
• Wearing the Parks Canada uniform in compliance with the Parks Canada Dress Code Policy.
• Being willing to complete first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) training.
