The Holiday Center offers stays with a wide choice of accommodation: chalets on the site or on the banks of the Saguenay, rooms with kitchenettes, alternative accommodations… and activities in four seasons: sea kayaking, quad biking, dog sledding, snowmobiling , snowshoes... All in a warm and dynamic family setting.

Description
Under the supervision of the external director, the role of the guide is to accompany and lead sea kayaking clients on the various outings.
Responsibilities
• Accompany, lead and supervise clients in sea kayaking
• Greet customers who participate in activities cordially and with a smile.
• Give instructions and instructions for using the equipment before, during and after the outing.
• Communicate the regulations and safety measures to follow, as well as the measures to take in the event of an emergency.
• Ensure the safe conduct of the activity.
• Ensure the well-being of customers and adapt to the needs, expectations and limits of customers without ever taking any risks.
• Assess whether clients are able to carry out activities without compromising their safety and propose alternatives when necessary.
• Prepare, distribute and maintain the equipment used during guided outings.
• Interpretation on the fjord, fauna and flora during guided outings (activity animation).
• Promote the activities of the 5 Star Farm to customers.

Requirements
• Level 2 in sea kayaking in FCQK or equivalent;
• Have outdoor experience and good physical fitness;
• Driving license;
• First aid in remote areas (Sirius 40h) or equivalent;
• Restricted Operator Certificate (Maritime) (VHF);
• Class 3 offshore activity permit - Marine Park (would be an asset);
• Bilingual or good knowledge of spoken English;
• Be versatile and open to carrying out other tasks for the good of the organization;
• Flexibility in terms of working hours.
Salary
To be discussed based on experience
Number of hours per week
Variable between 30 and 40 hours/week (depending on traffic)
