Description
This village has a bay, beaches, a quay with launching ramp, a museum, equipped panoramic observation sites and a river with a salmon migration pass. Godbout Bay is recognized as one of the 12 best land-based observation sites for whales, seals and seabirds feeding near the coast. The intergenerational park constitutes a rest site; located at the western end of the town, it is popular with kitesurfing enthusiasts. A ferry service runs between Godbout and Matane. On site, you benefit from accommodation, restaurant, campsite and souvenir shops. Salmon fishing on the Godbout River is now accessible. For more information, visit the tourist information office located in the heart of the village at 144, rue Pascal-Comeau.
