Hôtel Tadoussac also hosts several summer events, including the Happening de peinture de Tadoussac. On September, professional artists and painters gather to showcase their work in the grand hall of the hotel as well as at various tourist sites around Tadoussac. Themed weekends

For the second year in a row, Hôtel Tadoussac pays tribute to local and regional farmers and food producers. Meet with this true artisans and discover (and taste!) their fare cooked right before your very eyes! These free activities take place every Saturday in September and October, in the grand hall of the hotel, between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. The restaurant Le Coverdale features some of the very best products on its evening menu.

Exploramer-certified menus

The menus of all Hôtel Tadoussac’s restaurants have been certified by Exploramer. Look out for the blue fork logo!

Since the summer 2009, Exploramer has been maintaining its Smarter Seafood program, which encourages sound management of marine resources by offering lesser-known species from the St Lawrence river, thereby decreasing the overfishing of certain species, fostering sustainable development, and protecting the region’s precious biodiversity.

The hotel’s executive chef, Mr. Fabrice Piquet, has consistentnly demonstrated his undisputed talent, flare and creativity by concocting menus that feauture terroir (local) products and highlight the uniqueness and know-how of local producers. Again this year, products from new producers in the region, including La Ferme Caprivoix, Les Jardins de la Mer, La fromagerie Ménard, La Fromagerie Lehmann and the Jardin des Chefs will be featured on the hotel’s menus.
