Notice of appointment

Côte-Nord, November 28, 2022 - The Board of Directors of Tourisme Côte-Nord is proud to announce the appointment of Ms. Joannie Francoeur-Côté as Executive Director of the organization. She will take office on December 12.

The regional tourism association is delighted with the arrival of Ms. Francoeur-Côté on the team.  Her mandate will be to lead the organization in the various actions to be taken to promote and develop the region's tourism offer.

Mr. John Pineault, co-chairman of the Board of Directors of Tourisme Côte-Nord, said he was pleased with the arrival of the new director: "It is a wind of change that will bring its share of positivism. She will bring stability and dynamism to the organization".

A varied professional background

Involved in her community for many years, Joannie has put her management skills to good use in organizations such as Centraide Duplessis and the Vieux-Quai en fête de Sept-Îles. Her previous mandates have allowed her to learn and assimilate all the ins and outs of managing and governing a non-profit organization. Her studies in marketing and management will allow her to take on her new mandate with brio!

"I love to develop, innovate, create and coordinate, always in collaboration with other stakeholders," says the new executive director of Tourisme Côte-Nord.
