Some 30 minutes from Forestville, you’ll come to the community of Pessamit. Travel on to discover the charms of the manicouagan Peninsula, a paradise for wind and board sports enthusiasts. Winding through the municipalities of Ragueneau, Chute-aux-Outardes, Pointe-aux-Outardes, and Pointe-Lebel, explore a trail that takes you to some of the region's most beautiful beaches.

Further east, dynamic Baie-Comeau (map of Baie-Comeau)- with its vibrant industrial, historic, and religious heritage, and a host of activities - welcome you with open arms. At the Glacier Garden, take a journey back in time and discover the traces left by the last Ice Age. Year-round, a ferry links Baie-Comeau and Matane. Stop in at these large dams, they’re well worth a visit! Allow approximately 30 minutes to reach Manic-2 from Baie-Comeau, and 2hrs 30 mins to reach Manic-5.

Some 20 minutes past Baie-Comeau, you’ll reach the Panoramas area comprising the communities of Franquelin, Godbout, and Baie-Trinité, where the scenic vistas and unspoiled surroundings are an invitation to relax and admire nature at its finest.

Attractions include a unique fish ladder and an historic lighthouse.
